Welcome! I began painting self taught at the end of April
2002. By the middle of that summer, I was inspired by
Pierre Bouret to read and take some classes. So that fall I
enrolled in a painting class at the community college, and
studied under Kathi Fertig for a little over a year.
Mostly, I enjoy landscape painting and painting outdoors
which is called plein air. Yet I also enjoy studio painting
from life and sometimes using photos I have taken as
reference.
As of April 2004, I started to enter my paintings into juried
shows and exhibits. My paintings have won 1st place
awards, a 3rd place award and a Merit Award. I also have
had solo shows as well as had paintings in invitationals.
I am currently a member of Burlington County Art Guild,
the Willingboro Art Alliance, Rancocas Valley Plein Air
Painters, International Plein Aire Painters, and associate
member of Oil Painters of America.
My paintings are for sale. I am also available for
commission work.
